As part of renovation work on a long-established hotel, plans were made to plant greenery on the existing roof. In addition to the need to plant greenery on an existing building, given the location in a cold climate, Square Turf Light was adopted, as it is lightweight and has a proven track record in cold climates. Beyond the lawn in front of the guest rooms flows the Tokachi River, a first-class river, creating a building brimming with the richness of nature.
