Reuse and recycling of network floors
For any of these problems
- Restoration to original condition eliminates the need for a raised access floor
- I want to reduce waste from the perspective of SDGs and ESG
- I want to contribute to protecting the global environment
1. Support Overview
As society becomes increasingly interested in environmental considerations such as SDGs and ESG, the criteria for selecting products for raised access floors are also changing significantly. Not only do materials and structures need to meet specifications, but environmental considerations are also now required as a condition for adoption. Aiming for a recycling-oriented society, KYODO KY-TEC is a raised access floor manufacturer that was one of the first in the industry to adopt a recycling system in 2000. In recent years, the company has evolved into operating a reuse and recycling system, and is committed to promoting sustainable, environmentally friendly products.
2. Environmentally Friendly Raised Access Floor "Network Floor"
"Network Floor" is a highly durable product that operates an environmentally friendly reuse and recycling system, and has been awarded the Eco Mark in recognition of this system. By carrying out reuse and recycling collection, we reduce the generation of industrial waste, and by reusing collected products or using them as raw materials for products, we contribute to resource conservation. In addition, reused products reduce the CO2 required for manufacturing.2No CO emissions compared to new products2This contributes to reducing emissions.
Eco Mark Product Certification Requirements
This product has been certified as an Eco Mark product by the Japan Environment Association for the following four reasons:
- Design that takes into consideration the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle)
- We will build a system to collect and recycle applied products, provided by manufacturers or retailers.
- Create a system to reuse and recycle over 80% of collected products
- We have created a system that includes manuals on construction, use, maintenance, management, demolition, disposal, and recycling, and that can be viewed by builders who use the product and building owners.
What is the Eco Mark System?
This system is the only Type I environmental labeling system certified by a third party in Japan, and the Eco Mark is awarded to products that are recognized as having a low environmental impact and contributing to environmental conservation throughout their entire life cycle.
3. About the reuse and recycling system
Reuse and recycling collection allows you to reduce industrial waste while being environmentally friendly and keeping costs down. Collected products are divided into reused and recycled items depending on their specifications and construction method. If you no longer need your installed "Network Floor" due to building demolition, a change of use, or restoration following a relocation, please contact us.
