1. Support Overview

As the number of green buildings in cities increases, we often see greenery that is not properly maintained, damaging the landscape. If proper maintenance is not carried out, it could affect the asset value of the building. We provide various maintenance support services to ensure that our customers can use our products for a long time.

2. The importance of after-sales maintenance

When installing rooftop or wall greenery, planting and watering management are required, just like with outdoor greenery. If left unmanaged, plant roots will grow, adversely affecting the waterproofing layer, and dead leaves and soil will fly away, and if the greenery system is exposed, there is a risk that the containers will also fly away. Therefore, it is important to create a maintenance plan that includes regular planting management and safety inspections.

3. Support Content

We provide the following maintenance support:

Support for planting management

Weeds will inevitably grow due to wind or seeds being blown in. When doing so, it is necessary to remove the weeds before they grow large. Do not rely on the frequency of maintenance, but remove weeds as needed.

Pruning depends on the type of plant, but just like with exterior plantings, they are managed separately for medium-to-tall trees, shrub ground cover, and grass. In particular, low-maintenance Zoysiagrass is often used for rooftop greenery these days, and many of them require mowing once a year instead of three times a year.

Plants can sometimes be prone to large infestations of caterpillars and cutworms, which eat away at the leaves and roots. If the infestation is discovered early, spot control is possible, but regular control is more effective.

Weeds will inevitably grow, so regular spraying of pesticides will help control the weeds and keep them from overgrowth.

Proper fertilization will ensure stable plant growth.

Facilities management support

Inspecting the irrigation controller

Irrigation controllers are equipped with solenoid valves and flow meters to supply water to plants. Regular inspections are required to ensure that the irrigation settings are appropriate for the growth of plants.

Drainage drain management

Regular cleaning is necessary as dead leaves and dust can accumulate and cause poor drainage.

4. Examples of support items and timing
