PRODUCT FEATURES

  • Servers can be expanded without power outages

POINT 01Servers can be expanded without power outages

Data centers operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and of course, the power supply cannot be turned off even when relocating or adding servers.
To cope with such situations, BlackBus has a mechanism that allows the branch box to be attached and detached without power interruption.

  • Safe and secure branch box connection mechanism

POINT 02Safe and secure branch box connection mechanism

    • Plug-in hole interlock mechanism
An interlock mechanism is used so that the plug-in hole opens and closes only when the branch box is connected.
The mechanism automatically connects the earth during the process of connecting the branch box, allowing for safe connection work.
    • Misconnection prevention mechanism
The plug-in hole is equipped with a mechanism to prevent incorrect connection, so the branch box will not be connected in the wrong direction.
  • Plug-in hole

    POINT 03Plug-in hole

A branch box can be installed for each server rack, allowing for one-to-one visualization of server rack wiring. Because BlackBus itself functions as a distribution board, it eliminates the need for a traditional distribution board, allowing for more effective use of space in the server room.

  • Branch box

    POINT 04Branch box

Customers have a variety of requests regarding how power should be supplied to server racks. We offer products that support a wide range of options, including branch boxes containing multiple circuit breakers, as well as the ability to specify circuit breakers and incorporate power monitoring.

  • Perfect Joint System

    POINT 05Perfect Joint System

BlackBus uses PF Joint Clips (200A-400A) and Perfect Bolts (600A and 800A) for conductor connections. The PF Joint Clip is inserted into the connection, and the conductor connection is completed by simply turning the joint pin a quarter turn and pulling it out. The connection cover cannot be attached until all joint pins have been pulled out.

  • POINT 06Whisker resistant

BlackBus is a whisker-resistant product that uses nickel-plated conductors and a colored steel (black) case.

  • Ideal for BCP

POINT 07E-BD type insulated Bus duct

This is a Bus duct used as a trunk line to supply power to the loads of multiple Black Bus systems.

CV Cable Server power supply Bus duct
Outline
  • Uses copper conductors.
  • It is insulated with cross-linked polyethylene.
  • Capacity Max 600A (325mm2
  • Copper conductors are used (aluminum conductors are used for 600A and 800A).
  • It is covered with steel plates.
  • Capacity 200A to 800A
Benefits
  • In stock, so immediate delivery is possible.
  • There is no need for space to install a power distribution unit (PDU), allowing for effective use of server room space.
  • Load can be increased using plug-in holes, making it easy to add servers (construction can be done without power outages).
Drawbacks
  • Space is required to install a power distribution unit (PDU), which reduces the space available for installing the server rack.
  • When adding a server, a new trunk line must be laid, which is difficult to do if the wiring is under the floor.
  • As this is made to order, there is no stock.
  • On-site processing is not possible.
