Riosera Report

February 17, 2026 We are preparing to create a new section on our website!

This time, we have carefully selected promotional photos taken last year to feature in a new section of our website!
We thought about what kind of photos would please those who saw them, and chose cool photos and photos that give a sense of our everyday lives, so we hope you will take a look. We had fun choosing the photos after consulting with all the employees and remembering the time of the photo shoot.
When I finally got the novelty item I designed in December and held it in my hands, I felt a strong attachment to it and was extremely happy! We will be distributing them at the exhibition, so I hope that those who pick one up will be even slightly interested in it. I would encourage all our employees to take a look at the designs we created!!

January 21, 2026 I wrote down my New Year's resolutions!

This month, we celebrated our first day at work in 2026 by writing calligraphy!
I've always loved calligraphy, so I was looking forward to it. At first, I couldn't write the way I wanted and wasn't satisfied with the characters, but with the help of an employee who is a calligraphy instructor, I was able to improve in a short amount of time! It's rare to have the opportunity to learn calligraphy, so it was a very good experience.
We then each wrote down our aspirations for this year. We want to fight hard in fencing with this theme in mind, and look forward to a year where we can say, "I achieved that."
We will continue to work hard in 2026 to bring you even better news! Thank you for your continued support!

December 19, 2025 Novelty design created!

In December, we came up with a novelty design!
I was really unsure about what kind of design to use, but once I decided on our own photos to use, I came up with a lot of different ideas and gradually started to enjoy creating it.
We designed it so that anyone who picks it up can get a feel for not only KYODO KY-TEC but also fencing.
We came up with two designs, one cool and one cute, so we hope you'll pick up both!
Since we designed it ourselves, it will be a while before we see the actual novelty items, but they are already our favorites!

November 21, 2025: We received training from the Sustainability Promotion Department!

This month, we received training on the company's sustainability activities.
I had vaguely heard the word "sustainable" before, but I didn't know what it meant or what kind of initiative it involved.
During the training, I was able to learn about what constitutes sustainability and the activities the company is undertaking.
There were some parts that I found difficult, but I realized that it was necessary to contribute to society and provide good things, and that it would be beneficial for the company!
I also felt that sustainable activities such as using my own bags are all around us.

October 23, 2025 We visited the Environmental Business Division's construction site!

This month, I went on a training trip to the Environmental Business Division's site for rooftop and wall greening!
This was my second time visiting the site, and I think I was able to learn more about the company as it was a different site from the last time.
I experienced construction at a primary and junior high school construction site, thinking, "I'm envious of the children who get to attend such a great school!"
It's possible only because of the communication between employees and the people on the front lines, and although it seems like a difficult job, I felt it was a wonderful job.
I don't often get the chance to be in a place like this, so it was a very fresh and exciting experience!
It was great to be able to see and learn about the company's products and how they are used.

September 24, 2025 We tried our hand at an original game!

This time, we tried our hand at creating an original game together with the interns.
When I first heard the rules explained, I was a little worried that it would be difficult, but as I played more and more, it became more and more fun, and before I knew it, I was completely absorbed in the game! I felt like I was using a bit of my brain power that I don't normally use, in order to give my partner clear hints and guide them to the answer.
The way the interns gave hints was different from ours, and I was very impressed by how ingenious they were.
There was some tension at first, but as the game progressed the atmosphere became more relaxed and by the end everyone was smiling, making it a very good experience.

August 2025, 8 We participated in the summer festival!

It was my first time participating in a summer festival!
Before participating, I was a little nervous, wondering what the atmosphere would be like, but I was able to get involved from the preparations onwards and was very surprised by how authentic the festival was. The food was also festival-themed, with machines for shaved ice and cotton candy, and it really made me feel like I was at a summer festival!
Thanks to the festive atmosphere, conversations flowed more than usual and I was able to talk to many people. My best memory was the fun interactions I had with the employees.
Unfortunately, we both lost the lottery, but we hope to win next year!

July 2025, 7: We participated in a joint welcome party for new mid-career hires!

This time, we participated in a joint welcome party for mid-career employees, which is held once a year.
First of all, we introduced ourselves and talked about our future activities in front of everyone. When we come to the office normally, we don't have many opportunities to meet and talk with many employees, so I think it was a good opportunity for everyone to get to know us.
Many people know about us through the "Riosera Report," but actually meeting and talking with our employees allowed us to get to know everyone better, so it was a great opportunity and we're glad we were able to participate.
Speaking in front of a large group of people feels completely different from having a leisurely conversation with each person, and I really enjoyed the time I spent talking with them individually!

June 25th, 2025: We attended the Bus duct training and the first recruited intern!

During the Bus duct training, I was able to learn about sales topics that I had never heard before, as well as relationships with clients and subcontractors.
I realized that constructing a building involves more companies than I had imagined, and that cooperation is essential. I also learned that when it comes to sales activities, it's important to take into account past relationships with other companies and that communication is extremely important.
When introducing the training content to the students, we talked about what we had been working on while displaying the "Riosela Report" from our website on the screen. I was a little worried about whether I had been able to explain it clearly, but I hope that it was conveyed well!

May 2025, 5: Photographed in the new uniform!

It's been a year since I joined KYODO KY-TEC, and I took promotional photos wearing the logo uniform and jersey!
It's been several years since I've had promotional photos taken, and since I wear a mask during the competition and don't have to think about my facial expressions, I always struggle with my facial expressions and poses, no matter how many times I've done it.
Despite all that, the promotional photos for the company are finally finished, so I'm really happy that everyone can see them! During the shoot, we also had some behind-the-scenes shots taken, and it was the first time I was photographed in a suit, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

April 2025, 4 I learned CAD!

This time we learned CAD and finally tried our hand at creating a character of our own choosing!
It was my first experience with CAD, and I started by learning how to draw a single line, then circles and semicircles, but it was difficult to remember everything when it came time to draw the character I wanted to draw. Still, I felt a sense of accomplishment when I finished, and I enjoyed drawing with CAD!
It also required concentration, which is something that is similar to fencing, so it was a good learning experience!

March 2025, 3 Looking back on the past year!

This month, I had the opportunity to have a conversation with the president to conclude the year.
Through this discussion, we were able to once again convey our thoughts and hear the president's thoughts, which was great!
I hope to continue fighting under the name of KYODO KY-TEC, achieving results and further boosting the company!
It's been a year since I joined the company, but it feels like it went by so quickly, and I'm happy that I've had more opportunities to talk to other employees!
I will continue to do my best to contribute to the company!

February 2025, 2 We had a construction experience!

The Scandiamoss "Four Seasons" that I created the other day is now complete. It has been installed and is on display in the hallway of our company's conference room, so I hope you will come and see it!
February's report is about the Floor Systems Division's construction experience at a new construction site. I visited a site where they were installing a Raised Access Floor with adjustable support posts. It was my first time to see it in person, but they explained each step to me, and I was able to understand it very well. Learning how new buildings are constructed sparked my interest, and it gave me a new sense of familiarity. I would like to continue learning more about the company's products!

January 2025, 1 I made Scandiamoss!

This time, we worked together to create "Scandiamos" for the Floor Systems Division!
We were a little worried because it was bigger than we had imagined, but once we got the hang of it, it was fun and we both got so absorbed in it that we finished it in no time.
The design is inspired by the four seasons, and this time we made two, "Spring" and "Autumn." Until now, I had only seen them displayed, but now that I've actually made them myself, I feel even more attached to them!
We plan to display the finished product at our headquarters, so please come and see it if you visit!

December 2024, 12: Accompanying a sales representative!

I accompanied Kitayama and Yoshimura from the Floor Systems Division on a customer visit.
It was my first time so I was nervous, but the two of them helped me relax and I was able to do it.
It was also our first time exchanging business cards, which was a great experience for us.
Furthermore, we had a lively discussion about fencing with the customer, and I was very happy that he became interested in fencing as well.
It was a very good experience to be able to see up close the work of our employees, something that we don't normally get to see.

November 2024, 11: I arrived at the Ayase Plant!

This time we went to Ayase Plant!
The atmosphere was different from the Kanagawa Technical Center, and I felt that mechanization had progressed.
I usually work at the head office in Ebisu, so it was a very refreshing and enjoyable experience to be able to visit the center for the first time.
Both have their own merits and I never got bored looking at them. I don't usually have a chance to see the inside of a factory, so I'm glad I was able to take a tour.
Just like last time, we took photos with the employees. It was a different and nice atmosphere from when we were at work, which made us happy too!

October 2024, 10: We arrived at the Kanagawa Technology Center!

We visited the Kanagawa Technology Center on October 10th!
I usually go to work at the headquarters in Ebisu, so it was a very refreshing and enjoyable experience to visit the center for the first time. It was great to see the company's products firsthand and learn about their manufacturing process. I was also able to talk with everyone at the center, so it was a great opportunity!
We are very happy that by meeting and talking with employees who we don't usually get to see, they have become interested in fencing!
I look forward to visiting other offices and factories!

September 2024, 9: We arrived at our new headquarters!

It was the first time we'd both been to work together since the move!
The new office is on one floor, so I was able to meet many employees and was happy to be greeted by them! I also had the opportunity to talk to the construction company staff who were there for the rooftop greening division's safety conference, which was a great experience.
I was also surprised at how high-quality the portraits of us that one of our employees drew were, and how similar they looked. My next visit to the office will be for training at the Kanagawa Technology Center, so I'm looking forward to meeting all the employees again!

June 2024, 6 Interviewed!

In a recent interview with a sports newspaper, in addition to questions about his current situation, future goals and activities, he was also asked about his younger sister, Sera, including her strengths as an athlete, her personality and her childhood.
This time, I was accompanied by members of the Public Relations Planning Department, and as I have not had much experience with being supervised during interviews, I was a little nervous, but I was able to complete the interview in a good atmosphere.
During the interview, we wore uniforms with the KYODO KY-TEC logo on the sleeves! We don't often have a chance to show you our uniforms, so we were happy that you were able to see them and enjoy them.

May 2024, 5: I arrived at work!

This time, I was happy to be able to meet and greet everyone from each business division.
After an introduction to the three business divisions, we heard about KYODO KY-TEC.
I think we have only learned a little about the Bus duct, which we don't normally see, so I would like to continue learning about KYODO KY-TEC.

April 2024, 4 Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you, I'm Rio Azuma and Sera, fencers.
On my first day at work, I met the employees and took photos, but I was able to talk a lot and have a great time.
